Buffalo Bill's 2007 Birthday Bash

GENERAL INFORMATION:

DIRECTIONS: The Buffalo Rose Events Center is located in downtown Golden, CO at 1119 Washington Ave. Golden is accessed from US 6, US 40, SH 93, C470, and I 70.

PARKING: Parking garage located behind the Buffalo Rose on Jackson Street; parking lots available at 11th and Arapahoe (one block west of Washington Ave.).

COSTUME CONTEST: All entrants will be given an entry number; they will be judged by popular vote of event attendees. One vote per attendee.

PRESENTATION/COSTUME CONTEST: Each contestant will present a 2 minute monologue (first person) on their character then judges will be allowed to ask questions of contestant.

PRIZES: Over $5000 in prizes to be awarded with an additional cash prize of $161 to be given to the winner of the Buffalo Bill presentation/costume contest. Additionally, all paid admission and contest entrants are eligible for door prizes which will be given out throughout the afternoon

JUDGES: There are 5 judges: Barbara Melfi, John Voehl, Pamela Voehl, Mike Guli, and Sharon Guli. All have experience in history, costuming, or character presentation.

FIREARMS: NO FIREARMS MAY BE DISCHARGED. All firearms must be carried unloaded.

PANORAMIC PICTURE: This proved to generate a lot of interest last year so we plan on doing it again this year. Plan on arriving in time to join the other costumed participants for this spectacular photo!!

 Noon Doors open, mingle and greet old friends, grab a bite to eat. Vendor booths in lobby throughout event
1:00 PM Greetings by Master of Ceremonies - Ralph Melfi Costume contest entrants to walk through room Old Western movies Other activities DBD Visit old friends Drawings for door prizes all afternoon Candid attendee pictures by Jim Smith, Remax Affiliates
2:30 PM - 3:15 PM Panoramic photo shoot outside Buffalo Rose on street
3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Costume contestants promenade through hall and balloting
4:15 PM - 6:30 PM Presentation/costume contest
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Announcement of winners of costume contest and Presentation/costume contest
